How to Write for Comics Workshop

Hello, and Happy New Year! Just a quick one to let you all know that I’ll be running an online workshop on writing for comics with the Developing Tutors programme on Tue 3 Feb 6:30 - 8:30pm.

Link for the tickets can be found here. I’m used to doing art workshops, so it’s an exciting new challenge to try and do something more focused on writing.

No markets or fairs booked yet for 2026, but will update here whenever I next have something on.

Apart from that, what to say about 2026… It’s barely started and I already feel really busy. Mostly in a good way. I’m still working on my graphic novel (now renamed to “The Threads That Bind Us”), and there’s still a ways to go, but I’m getting closer to a finishing off the colouring and, well, just finishing, which is relieving. It’s been a long road with this book, and it’s my first long-form comic ever, but I’m very much looking forward to when it can finally be in people’s hands to read.

Apart from that, I also have a couple of much smaller projects that are in-progress! Can’t talk about them now, but you’ll definitely be hearing more about them in 2026.
